The Feline Rescue Association is a network of cat loving volunteers who work together to provide love, food, shelter, and medical care to the cats and kittens of Baltimore and the surrounding areas
View the available cats and kittens in our gallery. If one (or two) catches your eye, complete our application and we will arrange an appointment for you to meet our wonderful cats in person.
Yes, there is an adoption fee...BUT... our adoption fees cover only a portion of the actual cost of vetting a cat to be ready for adoption - our cats & kittens are spayed/neutered, have vaccines, disease testing, microchipping, deworming, flea treatment and any additional medical treatment before they are adopted.
Looking for a new family member? Our cats & kittens are waiting to meet you! Check out our gallery, or go directly to our adoption list page to find a perfect match for you.
Why should you foster? Because shelters are over capacity and our army of foster homes has been overwhelmed. We will help you. FRA has a great volunteer support system to support your success. Yes, it's hard to say goodbye, but it's the most rewarding thing you will ever do.

The business of saving the lives of cats and kittens in Baltimore
is a never-ending task. In the past year, Feline Rescue Association has saved over 1,000 cats & kittens with our group of dedicated volunteers who have taken in adoptable stray
adult cats and hundreds of young kittens, as well as trapping, altering and returning community cats, to help keep colonies healthy and slow down the multiplying of new cats. We use a network of foster volunteers to harbor these cats and kittens, keeping them happy & healthy in their own homes, until they get adopted.
All of this takes an extraordinary amount resources, for which
we rely on donations. If our mission is something you can support, we welcome you to support our efforts. It's a war we will never win, but we can surely win a lot of battles, and it will make the difference in so many lives.
